What do you want? What do you really want in life? I know it sounds like a silly question, but it is one of the most important questions you should ask yourself. It really is because if you don’t know what you want in life, how are you going to get it?

It is like wanting to travel somewhere, have your car and your passport ready, but not have a destination. What is going to happen is that you will not go anywhere, or worse, you will find yourself driving with no destination. Buddhists say “life is suffering”. And that could be the case for our travel analogy, that means the car you are driving is extremely hot and uncomfortable. And I could say, if that’s the case, why bother with that? And people really ask that question. And they ask for it in a way that results in their own destruction and even worse in the destruction of others.

There are individuals who become particularly cruel and bitter, and sometimes even suicidal because they cannot bear the conditions of their own existence. We can certainly propose that life is full of tragedy and that suffering is real. So the question is what do you do about it?

You notice it in your own life and you can do it by observing your own life. I often ask my clients to do this. Let’s say look at your life for a week and pretend you don’t know who you are. Absolutely! What you understand most about yourself are the arbitrary presuppositions you used to lock yourself in. And you act as if those assumptions were true, so revealing your character’s full nature wouldn’t terrify you.

People hide in their own boxes, and it’s not surprising, but it’s not a good idea. Because life is too difficult to hide in a box, you can’t handle it if you do that. If you look at yourself for a week, you will see certain things, you will see some of the times that you are resentful and upset and those are times when you are taking advantage of or thinking incorrectly. Sometimes you will get bored, in which case you are not disciplined or you are probably chasing something you don’t want to chase.

Sometimes you will be engaged in life. And the times you get involved in life you will not notice that you are there. Right, the distinction between subject and object disappears when you engage in something that you consider significant. The purpose of life, from what I can see, studying mythology and studying psychology for decades, is to find a way of being that is so significant that the fact that life is suffering is no longer relevant, or even acceptable.

I would also say that people know when they are doing it, you know when you are doing it in part because you are no longer resentful, you say “God, I could do this forever.” There is an associated timelessness with that state of being.

From a mythological perspective, that is equivalent to a brief habitation of the kingdom of creator. That is where you are, so significant that it allows you to endure the harsh preconditions of life without being resentful, bitter, or cruel. And there is nothing you can look for in your life, that will be half as useful as that.

There is no other way to avoid it. If the end result is what you are looking for, you must be obsessed with the process. You don’t have time to let fear, doubt, failure, abandonment, negative thoughts or giving up enter your mentor. Then you have massive potential.

So from the moment you open your eyes in the morning, your mindset has to be earned. It means winning that particular morning and bringing that winner’s mindset with you when you enter your class. So which person to the left of you is pessimistic? So what area of the person to the right of you is divided?

You! Yes, you can only worry about staying locked up because you refuse to let the aura of your classmates or class enter your mental space. Look, this race is won by the one who can distance himself from the rest of the pack, and those are done, so I need you to realize that there will be bad days.

There will be times when you feel like you don’t have an earthly idea of what your teacher or professor is talking about, but what you will never do is throw a party. What you will never do is take advantage, what you will never do is grant and throw in the towel. What you will do is knock on his door and say listen.

I only have one choice and that is success in your class, but right now, I am confused about the lesson I was taught today and I need clarity and I need it now. I guarantee that if you are passionate about wanting to succeed in that class, he or she will work hard to help you. But if you settle for mediocrity and never say anything, you are failing and failing, my friend, it is not in your DNA.

I promise. You are not the first person to wonder whether or not they have what it takes to achieve a high standard. I promise you are not the first person to feel like they are underperforming. I promise you that you are not the first person to feel that your brain is about to explode.

Listen to me those who can move forward regardless of the storms that arise, are a small minority, that small percentile of those who finally make their way and realize their goals and dreams. The reality is this. He was impressed with everything he needs to pass each class with great success, he was born with everything he needs to overcome the anxiety that may arise from time to time on a mission to derail his lifelong hopes, dreams and aspirations.

Look, my favorite acronym is HWP and just in case you forget, or in case you don’t know, that means hard work is worth it. So, winners like us never lose focus and we are horrified and terrified every time someone tries to tell us to take the easy route because we already know that there is no easy route because if it were easy, everyone would.

So we avoid that ignorance and go back to our routine of studying harder than we have studied before because we understand that you get from it what you put into it. So we put our heart and soul into our homework, we put our heart and soul into studying for exams that way we sleep like a baby because we know in our heart of hearts that we have put every ounce of our being into our work and, so Therefore, success is an inevitable conclusion.

Listen to me. What if, after all the hard work, after all the studies, after all the blood, sweat, and tears, you still fail? I need you to believe and never forget that you never fail nor you never lose but you only learn. Look, life will take your breath away when you least expect it. It is part of the process.

Look, that’s when you have to tell yourself, because of this setback, I am stronger because of this setback, I am wiser, because of this setback, I am smarter and because of this setback, I am hungrier than ever! So I say all this, as a friendly reminder. You have it. You were born to be spectacular! So I need you to jump over the obstacles, I need you to get out of the traps and I need you to overcome adversity because that dormant volcano of success that lives within you is just waiting for you to give it permission. erupt!
