Happy Father’s Day to all the wonderful Dad’s. Indeed, you are a gift from God – to the family, to the church, and to the larger society. God has chosen you as a father – to fulfill His plan and purpose in this world. You are chosen to bring order and transformation in the family as well as in the society. As we celebrate this father’s day, I would like to point out three important lessons for us.

Firstly, Fathers are the Leader in the Family, he is a Leader in the Family: A leader is defined as “someone who can influence and motivate others.” And God has chosen you, and put, and placed you – in a position to influence.

Influence and motivate your wife and your family – so that, as a family, you can enjoy the blessing of God and also walk in the way of God. As a leader, you are not to rule over them. But you are to lead the family in the right direction. You are responsible in building up the family.

You are to develop the family, inspire, encourage, exhort, and cultivate them in the knowledge of God. You are called lead “in words and in deeds. It is an exhortation to fear God. It is an exhortation to serve God. And the people of Israel obediently agreed with Joshua and they feared God and the served God – because the chosen one was leading them with great influence and with great example. You and I, are called to lead like this man of God in the family. Dad is called to be the leader in the family.

Secondly, a Father is a Teacher in the Family. You are called to teach in words and in action. A good dad teaches his children how to live well in this shortness of life. It means, parents, especially the fathers, are not discourage and provoke their children.

We are called to lead like our great fathers. As a teacher, a father should teach love; a father should teach moral values and principles, a father should teach respect, honesty, truthfulness, transparency, faithfulness. A father must also teach the value of hard work and a father should teach what or when to say “yes” or “no.” Fathers should train the children in towards good. We are called to be a teacher in the family.

Thirdly, a Real Dad is a great Dad. The fact is anyone can father a child, but being a great Dad takes a lifetime. A great Dad starts with being a good husband. If you are not a good husband, you are not going to be a great Dad. Be a loving husband first. And in the family, kids don’t care about what job you have? how many awards you have received? or what kind of degree you have? what they want most is – your love and your time. Give your quality time – to your family, to build a family on a solid rock. Only then you will become a great Dad.

Conclusion:

In conclusion, if you fulfill all these responsibilities, you are already a great model of a DAD. You are a real man. You will be honored by your wife, children, and by the society. Finally, family is the smallest (social) unit in the society. If, we as fathers, transform our own families, the society we live would be a better place. May God bless each one of us. Happy Father’s Day.

Prepare the Most Amazing Chocolate Cake on this Father’s Day!

Today on this Father’s Day Hideshade.com is showing you how to make the most amazing chocolate cake.

We’ll start by preheating the oven to 350 degrees F, and then we’ll tell you how to grease a 9-inch skillet. Put a little softened butter on a paper towel and then spread it over the bottom and sides of the pan. Make sure you get all the sides and edges. You don’t want this cake to stick.

Then you can pour a little all-purpose flour or, since we’re making a chocolate cake, I suggest you to use cocoa powder. Sprinkle and then shake the pan from side to side to cover the entire bottom. The excess and twist it to cover all the sides. Then be sure to give it a couple of hard pats and hit all the excess into a trash can or sink and then just set those containers aside.

You’ll want to butter and dust off three 9-inch rounds of cake. It will be a 3 layer cake and it is amazing! Next, we are going to assemble our dough. In a large bowl, combine 3 cups of flour 3 cups of sugar, 1 1/2 cups of cocoa powder, 1 tablespoon of baking soda, 1 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder and 1 1/2 teaspoons of salt. Give it a quick shake to combine it.

Next, we’ll add all of our wet ingredients. You can either continue whisking this by hand or switch to a hand mixer. So pour in 4 eggs, 1 1/2 cups buttermilk, 1 1/2 cups hot water and 1/2 cup vegetable oil. Then mix this all together. Now, you don’t want to over-mix this. You are really just looking to combine all the ingredients and make sure there is no flour or cocoa powder left aside.

In fact, I like to end up using a handheld scraper by just scraping down the sides and bottom to make sure everything went in. We are now ready to divide the dough between the three trays. It seems to me that the easiest way to do this is to use a measuring cup and just take it out. I have found that it takes about 3 cups of the dough to fill each tray evenly. We are going to bake them in the oven at 350 degrees F for 30 to 35 minutes.

Make sure to move the rack to the center so you’re baking the cake in the center of the oven. This will ensure more even cooking. If you can only fit two of your cakes at a time, that’s fine. You can bake the third one right after. Once they are ready, remove them from the oven and place them on a wire rack to cool. Let them cool for about 10 minutes before turning them over and taking them out of the pan.

While waiting for the cakes to cool, you can go ahead and prepare your icing. Now, I have used all kinds of icing for this cake. Including beaten chocolate ganache which is quite good. Today we are making a buttercream with chocolate cream cheese which turns out to be our favorite.

Start with 8 ounces of cream cheese in a bowl and add 1 1/2 cups of softened butter. Use a hand mixer to beat this. Once it’s light and fluffy, add 1 1/2 cups of cocoa powder, the type of cocoa powder you use for this and the cake really matters. Use one of the best quality cocoa powder that you can find in your city. It really does make a difference. Mix this together. At this point, I always add a couple of tablespoons of milk. You may need to add more later.

The frosting is somewhat fickle, so the amount of milk you add can really vary. So just look and trust yourself. We are going to add about 8 cups of powdered sugar in total. I like to add it in about 1 cup at a time. Now I’m going to finish mine with a scraper just to make sure all of that powdered sugar is mixed together. Once our cakes are cold, we can put it all together with the frosting.

Trust me, this is the most decadent and divine chocolate cake. Now enjoy the slice of the most amazing chocolate cake ever! Do serve your Dad first and enjoy this beautiful day!

Message 2

I think that every day we should love and appreciate those people in our lives. But because it’s Father’s Day, I want to give a huge shout out to my dad and my grandfather for being great men in my life.

Now I always love to give my dad a hard time. We give each other a hard time. But there is something that my dad always talked to me about growing up. He would invite me to work alongside of him.

As a young child, I Didn’t like that at all. I’d actually rather do anything else. But every time we were doing something, when we were cleaning up, he’d say, “Now listen, “you make sure you clean everything up right “because you always take care of the things “that take care of you.” Whether it was fixing a machine or doing something, and I would hear this all the time and every time he’d go to saying it, “I know Dad, you always take care of the things “that take care of you.” But as I’ve gotten older, now that I’m a dad, I’m so grateful for that piece of advice because I tell my kids the exact same thing.

See, our dads have an amazing opportunity to have a great impact on our lives, so listen, what your dad really wants, he doesn’t want flowers, I mean you get that for your mom on Mother’s Day, your dad doesn’t really want a Shirt even though it would be kind of a cool gift for him. What your dad really wants is he wants you to be in a relationship with him.

What I’ve learned about my dad is that he doesn’t need all the stuff. He just wants to know that his son cares about him. So make sure you give your dad a shout. What I want you to do is respond to this article by commenting your valuable message for him on this Father’s Day

Do share this article with your family and friends! Have a great day!
